Use of Technology Agreement

Educators in the Newberg School District believe that technology provides students with unique opportunities to learn, innovate, create, communicate, collaborate and more. In addition to these remarkable benefits that come with using technology in the classroom, regular use of technology offers students the opportunity to become responsible digital citizens. We want all of our students to be thoughtful and responsible digital citizens, able to make good decisions when using technology and navigating digital environments. Parents/guardians and students must sign the agreement and return it to the student`s school as soon as possible. The attached document provides an overview of key details, resources and expectations for the responsible use of technology resources in the Newberg School District. Please read this document in consideration of your role in supporting the responsible use of technology in the Newberg School District. In order for your student to use a digital device, please take the time to read this document and discuss it with your students. .
